MY FIRST BOOK

Don’t Call Me Back

Dear readers,

As you hold the collection of my writings in your hand, I invite you on the journey of emotions through my poems. These words written inside are a part of me that expresses deep emotions. In there, you’ll find poems that ache with the pain of heartbreak, tremble with the fear of trauma, and whisper the secret of childhood memories. Poems that celebrate the beauty of love and the power of hope. These lines woven together convey the complexities of a young heart. As you read these poems, I hope you’ll find solace in knowing that you are not alone in your struggles. Thank you for joining me on this journey. May these poems be the source of light, comfort, and hope for you.

With love,

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             ….. Vedvi Sharma

Being awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for my book “Don’t Call Me Back” at the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Udaipur.

The honor was presented by Mr. Ashish Agarwal, Chairperson of Sai Tirupati University, during a wonderful event that brought together brilliant minds, mentors, and fellow creatives. To receive such recognition for something so close to my heart was humbling and surreal.

“Don’t Call Me Back” began as a deeply personal journey โ€” a reflection of emotions, experiences, and unspoken thoughts. Seeing it resonate with others, and now being acknowledged in such a meaningful way, has been incredibly fulfilling.

โœจ About Vedvi Sharma

Vedvi Sharma is a medical student at the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Udaipur, who has always carried a quiet but powerful love for words. Even as she walked the path of science and medicine, her heart found a second home in language โ€” a space where emotions could breathe freely, and thoughts could turn into art.

Growing up, Vedvi discovered that storytelling wasnโ€™t just a form of expression โ€” it was a way to make sense of the world around her. Over time, this passion evolved into poetry, where she found a medium to pour her innermost feelings, subtle observations, and lived experiences into carefully crafted lines.

Her writing is deeply personal, yet universally relatable โ€” a delicate blend of love, emotion, and pain. Each poem offers a glimpse into the raw and real moments of life, creating a voice that is both vulnerable and strong, tender and honest. Through her words, she doesnโ€™t just tell stories โ€” she invites readers to feel them.

Vedvi believes in the transformative power of words โ€” their ability to heal, to connect, and to awaken something within. Her debut book, Don’t Call Me Back, is a testament to this belief. It serves as an emotional journey through the complexities of relationships, self-discovery, and resilience, all told with a voice that is unmistakably her own.

With each poem, Vedvi offers a fresh perspective โ€” a quiet window into her world, filled with honesty, warmth, and a touch of poetic courage. As both a writer and a future doctor, she continues to explore the intersection of the heart and the human experience, one verse at a time.
